We’re thrilled to introduce the first ever Mānoa Chocolate Farm that you can VISIT, TOUR, and EXPERIENCE! Honoli’i Orchards is the result of a long-standing partnership over four years in the making. We have finally arrived at the culminating moment of not only producing chocolate from this Estate, but opening its tranquil doors for the public to experience a Hawaiian cacao farm.

Located on Hawai‘i Island, Honoli‘i Orchards benefits from Hilo’s ideal growing conditions. Perched on the eastern slopes of the tallest Hawaiian volcano, Mauna Kea, this region features abundant rainfall, deep volcanic soil, and a dynamic terrain carved out by the Honoli‘i Stream. We are so excited to experience the fruits of this partnership, and share them with you into the future!
the spirit behind the cacao
Our partner, Colin Hart, is an agricultural specialist with a master's degree in cacao from the University of Hawai‘i. Since 2019, Mānoa Chocolate has collaborated with Colin to establish seven acres of cacao on his family farm.
